John, Phillip, Natalie and Mr. “D” discuss what it really means to be a Bishop in the Mormon Church.
Podcast: Play in new window
Surprisingly, the church themselves actually did what you (John) had initially wanted to do for this episode: Itemize all the requirements of a bishop.
The brethren wanted to itemize a bishops duties and the time required so they could, possibly, help ease the load or shift some things around and they discovered that, if a Bishop were to do every single thing that was asked of them, it would require more hours in a day!
(I’m trying to find the source where I recently read this, but have been unsuccesful so far…but I know it was a faithful source… I’ll keep searching for the source…but maybe someone else saw this as well?)
