You’ve got a story and we want to hear it! Mormon Expression is pleased to announce the first annual personal essay contest. The rules are simple. Record a personal essay that has something to do with Mormonism. Entries must be no longer than 10 minutes in length. All entries are due by July 1st, 2010. The winning essay will be given $100.
Entries will be combined into a personal essay show and released as a Mormon Expression podcast.
To enter send a digital recording of the file in any standard format to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include a short description of the essay, any relevant background information, and a way for us to contact you.
You must be 18 years old, or have your parent or guardian’s express written permission to enter. All entries become the property of the Mormon Expression podcast and may be rebroadcast or published to publicly available forums. Entries may be edited prior to publishing. All personal information will be kept confidential.
